Algae on water lily plant

We imported lily seeds from Thailand and grown plants in tub. The were in good condition. Then we transferred them to Pond. 20 days back. Now there is lot of algae which is killing plants. Please advise.

Doug says you have a water issue not an algae issue. Algae itself won't kill plants - get your water tested as a first step. There's something culturally wrong here.
