So why "Aquatic Garden?"
My thinking about ponds is that they fit into the overall context and design of the garden. They just happen to be a focal point that contains water (duh!) :-) So an aquatic garden just makes some sense to me (I hope it does to you as well) And it's a blog - a place for me to add comments and articles that don't really fit well into the rest of the site.
That's the deal -fairly simple and straightforward.
