Amounts of Bluestone Dose

Well, I do have several thoughts. The first is that this is a very small unit and without fish in there you can
1) replace the water just as easily as treat it.
2) a cap of bleach will do the same thing
3) go to an aquarium store and get the bluestone used for algae control in aquariums - in soluble form at 1.6% copper sulphate you'd only need about 70 drops to wipe out algae in that size unit. But you do have to read and follow label directions.
4) I wouldn't even begin to use powdered copper sulphate in this small unit nor give any advice about measuring the tiny amounts (in the part-gram range) needed. Far easier to use the other products instead of trying to figure out the proper bluestone dose.
In short - I'd use aquarium products.
