Mosquito control in bog

Is it true that bogs attract mosquitoes, since it is standing water. If so is there anything you can really do about it?

Doug says that bog gardens don't contain standing water - they're simply very wet ground. Swamps contain standing water. :-) So have a bog but don't have a swamp.

Mosquitoes require standing water to breed successfully but (depending on where you live) there are natural products you can put into still water to reduce these populations

A naturally occurring product (a Bacteria) is available online for control of larva. I'll be listing sources for this kind of product on my other website
