My Pride and Joy of 2009

I started this lotus tuber in 2008 and it grew nicely. I overwintered it in my pond and in 2009 it grew and grew and finally it got 2 large buds. It was beautiful!!! I never thought I could grow a lotus in Pittsburgh!! I am very proud of myself!
