Small Garden Ponds

Totally agree. Love the variety of plants.

My girlfriend had a minuscule natural looking pond. She wanted to get fish but didn't want to deal care issues. Instead I gave her two realistic plastic coy fish about 4 and 8 inches long that I discovered at a high-end toy center (TOtal cost about $12). She cleverly positioned them at the bottom of this shallow pond.

When my friend would to show people her backyard she would stop at the pond and say with wonder, "Look, the coy are sleeping". People would always believe it but then she would let them in on the ruse.

A lot of decorating is about creating drama, smoke and mirrors. Gardens too; all you need to do is to get creative.

I had no idea so much could be done with such a small space. you pond is amazing. the variety of plants you have in there, and fish. it looks and sounds very beautiful. it is also inspiring. something I may try to do.
