I too have a natural feeding pond (from an underground fresh water source). I would love to fill the rock garden (behind the pond) with a lot of wispy perennials. right now it is a mess..any suggestions on what would grow large and need little maintenance.

i live in Nanaimo. BC which is a zone 7, so the fish survive over the winter.

hi i have a similar pond on our property, i live in zone 4 and was wondering what zone you are in because i was told that fish wouldn't survive the winter here. so far the frogs and ducks really seem to be enjoying my pond. i think my pond is 10 feet deep or there about.
