Overwintering young lotus seedlings

Started 3 lotus seeds in my pond which is only 2 feet deep. There have been several 2 inch, blue-green leaves come up so far. Don't know what to do for the winter. We are in zone 5 but my pond does not freeze solid. Do I take them in for the winter or do I leave them in the pond? Any suggestions? No pics yet.

Doug says you winter them where you want to grow them. They should be fine.
