Marg and Dwight's New Pond

Our New Garden Oasis
Last summer, we moved into a gardenless, sloping back yard. This spring, we dug our ponds into the 3' slope. The water falls into the upper 4'x10' pond and then into the lower 18'x 22' one. It is 24" deep in the middle. The front rock wall is just right for sitting on at 18" high.
We have just finished the gardens in the back yard. It is our peaceful oasis and a pleasure to listen to the two falls or watch the fish from our new deck. Soon, a patio will be built around the rock wall to the deck .
