We constructed these ponds in our small garden in 2004. When our 12 goldfish bred and created 600 more, we couldn't find other pond owners to give them to. So we created the Geneva Area Pond Club, which now has well over 100 families as members, and we're still giving away goldfish.

Backyard Sanctuary

I recently moved from an apartment to a house that I bought. The previous home owners had 2 big dogs running around in the yard and could not do much to it. They had little white rock covering the whole yard. I had a blank slate to work with so I decided to create a water garden and landscape my whole backyard. I have patio pavers covering most of my yard with multiple levels due to the slope of the property. I have water lilies and papyrus growing in the pond with over 2 dozen goldfish swimming around.
