Does anyone know what this is? I have a ton of them flitting around in my pond.

Mosquito drawings

I couldn't find anything stating not to post a website, so if this doesn't post I'm sorry.

The website for the mosquito drawing is pond-life.us. Click on Mosquitoes and Craneflies in the list. At the top left is a drawing of what looks like your creature. If you double click on that picture, a box with more drawings will appear. Place your cursor around on the drawings and it will say common mosquito.

This site is interesting if you want to know what's in your pond.

Hope this helps.

Mosquito Larvae

I saw a drawing on a website that looks like this creature and it is one of the stages of the common mosquito. I don't know if you can list the site here. I'll check if it's allowed and post it in another comment.

Hello, thanks for the input! Unfortunately, since these things have the 6 sections of the shrimp (crustacean) abdomen (most people refer to these as their tails) it is unlikely a mosquito (insect) larva. I sent this to 10 separate websites and still no identification. . . eeks.
